WORKSHOP NOW FULL - Creating with Cornhusk

Join in the creation of this ancient and traditional-based art form by making your very own cornhusk doll, complete with outfit.

This two day workshop is facilitated by Anastasia Blackey who will guide participants through the process of making a fully outfitted cornhusk doll. The fee for this workshop is $60.00*. Spaces are limited, so it is suggested that you register early.  Spaces are only guaranteed for those who make workshop payment. Payment options for this workshop are: Cash at museum reception desk, money order made payable to the Woodland Cultural Centre, or online using our paypal.

Other info:

  • All materials will be provided, but if participants wish to bring personal items to adorn their doll, they are welcomed to do so.
  • This workshop is open to ages 12 and up
  • Participants need to pack a lunch

*Fees associated with this workshop cover the cost of material expenses and artist fees. There are no refunds once payment has been received.
