First Nations Art 2013 Opening Reception and Coffee House CD release May 24, 2013 at 7:00PM

Please join us for an evening to appreciate contemporary First Nations Art, featuring works submitted by thirty-four artists of various nations.   Representing a variety of mediums including beadwork, painting, photography, and textile works, this 38th annual showing of First Nations Art is the longest running exhibition of contemporary works by First Nations artists. 

Opening reception begins at 7:00PM followed by a live performance by Logan Staats, one of the four Six Nations musicians featured on ‘Coffee House’, the first CD released by the Woodland Cultural Centre presenting the live performances taken March 2, 2013 at ‘Coffee House’.  Other artists featured on this CD are Jace Martin, Cheri Maracle, and Lacey Hill. This CD will exclusively be sold at Woodland and CKRZ in Ohsweken beginning May 25, 2013.
