Mission Statement:
The W.C.C. Library contributes to the promotion of the history, heritage, and culture of the First Nation people,
particularly to the Eastern Woodland area.
Background:
- Major collection of contemporary books and current issues
- Collection of First Nations newspapers, magazines and journals
- Extensive collection on the Royal Commission Report on Aboriginal Peoples, general anthropology, residential schools.
- Founded in 1972
- Housed in five rooms on the main floor of the administration building
- Uses the Library of Congress Classification System
- Materials are easily accessible
