Posted 14/09/30 in NEWS

Our 17th Annual Christmas Craft Fair is fast approaching and we are anticipating another successful event.  As always the Woodland Cultural Centre Craft Fair is on the first Saturday in November - November 1, 2014 - from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.  With an estimated 30 Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabe vendors expected, items for sale will include black ash baskets, corn husk dolls, silver jewelry, moccasins, beaded fancies, and many other finely crafted wares unique to this area.  Admission is by donation to the museum - those who donate are eligible to enter our hourly door prize draws!

The Centre is excited to offer some standard and some new features for this year's Craft Fair: vendors will be in the Orientation Room and the Museum Meeting Room - big, bright spaces; for those interested in a dining experience, traditional and contemporary treats will be available on-site; and as always, parking at the craft fair is ample and free!!!!

The Holiday season is right around the corner, so plan to attend the Christmas Craft Fair and start checking names of your shopping list.

For artisans and crafters looking to set up at the Woodland Cultural Centre Christmas Craft Fair, there are some spots remaining.  To inquire for a spot please contact (519) 759-2650, extension 226.  The Vendor Registration Form can be accessed from the link below, completed and brought to the Centre.
